The starter bank has 33 lessons and 99 tasks: one lesson per subject for each of grades 1–11. This is an introductory set of topics.

The content has not been reviewed by an educational specialist. Its alignment with school grades requires a separate review.

## Worked examples

### Grade 3

What is the root of the Russian word «садовник»?

**Answer:** сад

Compare the related Russian words «сад», «садовый», «садовник». The shared meaningful root is сад.

### Grade 7

Find the adverbial participle in «Прочитав записку, Вера улыбнулась».

**Answer:** Прочитав

Vera smiled after reading the note. «Прочитав» names an additional action by the same person and answers «что сделав?» (having done what?).

### Grade 10

Which punctuation mark follows «кажется» in «Кажется скоро начнётся снег»?

**Answer:** A comma

Here «кажется» expresses the speaker’s uncertainty as an introductory word: «Кажется, скоро начнётся снег». It is followed by a comma.
